Texpreview will take place at “Parque Vila Germânica”, city of Blumenau, state of Santa Catarina (see map), southern Brazil. The city of Blumenau has excellent access roads and is strategically located near the airports of Navegantes (59 km), Joinville (128 km) and Florianópolis (130 km).

The region is known as the “European Valley” in Brazil, where is possible to see similarities with European architecture, cuisine, craftwork, the gardens well taken care and cultural events.

Blumenau is the most known city in this region, standing out in computer science, health and education services, crystal production, and textile industry is the main economical activity. It is also an excellent place to go shopping. Another city, Pomerode, is proud to be called the “the most German city”. Other cities such as Brusque, Rio dos Cedros, Indaial, Timbó, Gaspar, Botuverá, Rodeio and many others also maintain their European origins.

The “European Valley of Brazil” counts with many natural beauties such as rivers, mountains and caves, so the ecological tourism and sports are very intense in the area. It is also an important industrial, cultural and shopping area. Another important place is “Saint Paulina” Sanctuary, in the city of Nova Trento attracting thousands of catholic pilgrims from all over Brazil.

The city of Balneário Camboriú is a great option for those who like the beach. It is a touristic city recognized all over in Brazil, with excellent hotels and plenty of options for fun and entertainment. It is only 60 km from Blumenau.
